Who we are…

The Practical Press Inc. is a Maryland-based publisher of enriching books, CD’s and DVD’s. We have two distinct product lines:

• Business Boosters

We are committed to learning, growth and human development. Our mission is to provide creative sources of practical information that is informative, enriching and inspiring.

Why we do what we do…

Because it’s fun! We have a commitment to enjoying our work and enjoying our world. We do it because we know there are lots of experts---consultants, coaches, educators---with messages that matter. We want to disseminate their ideas in easy to use formats. Our aim is to give voice to innovators from diverse environments.

How we do what we do…

We begin by brainstorming ideas. We think of every possible topic that could fit in our product lines. We then talk to our respected experts. We ask them if any of our topics make sense in the real world. They give us their insight. And that’s where the fun begins!

We invite them to create books, CD’s and the occasional assessment. Our requirements are simple---the products have to be succinct, interesting and relevant. We are not interested in publishing volumes of encyclopedias. We are committed to providing tools you can use!

After they share their brilliance through the spoken or written word we publish the products and market them like crazy! That’s where you come in. You keep buying and we’ll keep publishing!
